ASCEND Erie opened in November 2023, bringing Erie its first indoor rock climbing facility. Also featuring a well-stocked fitness area, yoga studio, slacklining, youth programs and community events, this 25,000 SF facility offers something for everyone regardless of experience level or age. Part of downtown Erie's revitalization, ASCEND Erie features 50’ lead climbing, top-roping, and auto-belay walls, ample bouldering terrain, climbing training tools, a retail store featuring today's most trusted brands, your favorite concessions, modern restrooms with showers, changing areas, and gender neutral options, comfortable lounge space to relax, work, and socialize, and of course, tons of glass - natural light!
In addition to monthly membership options, visitors can purchase individual day passes, multi-day/weekend passes, and 10-punch passes. Bringing the whole family? Children under 18 climb for just $10 with an adult climber, and little ones 5 and under climb for just $5! Plus, shoe and chalk rentals are on the house for first-timers.
