Purrista Cat Cafe is a locally owned coffee shop and adoptable cat lounge in downtown Erie. It offers quality coffee, tea, and light snacks alongside a separate, calm Cat Lounge where visitors can spend time with adoptable rescue cats. All cats in the lounge are available for adoption through the local no-kill rescue Because You Care. The Cat Lounge is designed to be a low-stress environment for both guests and cats, with limited capacity to ensure a relaxed experience. Reservations are recommended, and walk-ins are accepted when space allows. Purrista combines a cozy café experience with the opportunity to connect with rescue cats in a thoughtful, community-focused setting. No reservation is needed to visit the cafe side. Cat Lounge pricing is $15 per person for 60 minutes or $10 per person for 30 minutes. College student discounts are available.
