Mount Pleasant is a small family-friendly ski area that offers skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing and is a proud member of the National Ski Patrol. As a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America, the area offers many options for learning to ski. We have instructors for every ability level. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Mount Pleasant boasts the most exciting snowtubing park in the area. A 600-foot ride down one of the 8 lanes is the most exhilarating around! No skills or equipment needed! The cozy lodge houses anything else you might need. Equipment rental and lesson information as well as the Slopeside Grille and a retail shop covers all the bases. The fun doesn't stop in the summer! Mount Pleasant offers a Summer Pass that allows patrons to enjoy walking, trail running and mountain biking on the beautifully serene wooded trails. Use our trails to train for our popular 5K Challenge in October!
The Mount Pleasant House
Introducing the Mount Pleasant House! This 6-bedroom home, which will be rebranded as “The Mount Pleasant House” will offer short-term (week and weekend) vacation rentals. In addition to short-term vacation rental, this property acquisition will allow for modifications to the entryway to Mount Pleasant, including the future addition of a one-way driveway with a customer drop-off area, and will also allow for a future expansion of the existing lodge.
This home, constructed in the early 1900’s, was the original farmhouse to the property. When the ski area opened in 1970, the dairy barn was renovated and converted to the existing lodge, and the original farmhouse was subdivided. We are excited to reunite the properties and offer our patrons an opportunity to enjoy slope-side lodging.
The Mount Pleasant House has 6 bedrooms with various furnishings. Between the six bedrooms, the House comfortably sleeps 10 people. The maximum occupancy is 12 occupants.
