There is a clear and level pathway from handicapped accessible parking to the facility entrance, however, some areas of the zoo are inaccessible by wheelchair. Number of ADA bathroom stalls on site: 7 Number of handicapped accessible parking spaces: 11 The Erie Zoo offers push and motorized wheelchairs to rent at the gift shop located at the front of the zoo and provides wheelchair accessible seating areas at picnic tables. |
Sensory Sensitivity Bags are available for individuals to rent free of charge by request in the gift shop. The Erie Zoo partners with Kulture City to provide signage identifiers for headphone zones and quiet areas for those with sensory sensitivities. |
