Second Sundays are a perfect way to spend time creating in the Museum with your family and loved ones! Admission is pay-what-you-wish, and donations are appreciated. Each month features different art-making activities for families and loved ones, every Second Sunday of the month from 2 – 4 pm.
The Erie Art Museum has one of the largest collections of these textiles in the world but were particularly inspired by two of them which have the inscriptions: (1) “The beginning is difficult, but you must be patient and persevere” and (2) “All humans must help each other”. In a time where there seems to be so much division between us, it is important to remember what unites us all. The Art Museum invites you to also be inspired by this message which currently echoes throughout its current exhibitions and create with them a unique representation of the amazing individual you are.
